To hell with Independence, by Gatsheni Snr

As Zimbagwe celebrates its independence, its time for us to reflect back on the past 32years under the rule of tyranny and oppression and forge a clear road map for the way forward “Let every nation know, whether it wish us well or ill, we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure that one day we will celebrate our own Independence and success of liberty. We aim to expose all bad deeds that have went unpunished and bring the perpetrators to justice. Our echoes will be heard from the West to East, North to South. Either way we will all reach the final destination irregardless of the route taken. In response to last month articles, that revealed the song, all Zimbagwe parties were chanting ; devolution, devolution, that sounds like music from same hymn of tyranny, infact discott music to Mthwakazians. Marginalisation, has accelerated the de-industrialisation of the City of Kings (koNthuthu ziyathunqa). That has destroyed livelihoods, family life, marriages and left people of Mthwakazi Nation poor. Its has also seen the invasion of the once proud hub of KwaBulawayo BCC, that’s is in itself set to lose Tower Block. It is inconceivable that the current governor of Zimabgwe is thought to be the right man to mange the BCC, budget. We however credit him following his article released last month were he called for all Mthwakaians to rise and protest against continued marginalisation, the question why now, when he could have done so, when he first took up the job as the Governor, of a bank that now owes millions in revenue to the American Treasury for refusing to pay Tax for using the dollar in Zimbabgwe. That bill, will be a burden to all our grand children and next generations to come, a bill that will undoubtedly be picked by the tax payers. Maybe the answer is he is building his CV for his future political ambition, to maybe one day take up the President of Zimabgwe. We say to him if that’s the case, then he is better off deluding people of Mpumalanga (the North) were he belongs, and stop misinforming the Mthwakazians, with false hopes. Sekwanele enough is enough, we wont rest till we attain our independence, we therefore don’t celebrate the illegitimate country’s independence of 18 April.

  2. I beg to differ with that, the day, brought us to were we are today. Thats the time when the sellouts that we fought with celebrated, but in their minds they were planning terror, that saw the Gukurahundi genocide and more countless unpunished and unexplained deaths came to pass.
