MDC T Dumps Members in the Diaspora

By Gatsheni Snr Its high time people wake up and smell the coffee, MDC T will undoubtedly continue the 1979 Grand Plan. Already its abandoning its people in the diaspora, undoubtedly some of the people that helped funding wise. THE Movement for Democratic Change led by Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai has abolished all of its external assemblies, The ZimDiaspora can reveal. This means that all external assemblies such as the MDC-UK and Ireland, MDC South Africa, MDC-USA have now been demoted from province to mere associates of the party, it has been confirmed. This follows the adoption of a new constitution that seeks to eliminate all external assemblies. This also means that Harvest House will now be dealing directly with individual external branches, a source told The ZimDiaspora. The MDC-UK and Ireland has since inception been a scar to the party with £57 000 still missing up to now. The missing funds attracted international media coverage with Tsvangirai's relatives being implicated in the financial scandal that threatened to rip apart Harvest House. Further, MDC-UK has suffered from leadership crisis, with all of its succeeding provincial chairmen being branded controversial and politically incompetent. Sources said Harvest House has reiterated that following the new constitution, external assemblies were now all defunct. “We have received some communication from Harvest House about this and we will be meeting tomorrow (Saturday) as former provincial council to discuss the way forward. What I can tell you is that we no longer a council,” a source said. This means the ultimate end of the Tonderayi Samanyanga-led provincial executive.
